(Official IT Partner) Last Updated: June 01, 2026This document establishes a single, combined Terms of Service (“Terms”) governing your access to and use of InnoVet and ConnectInnoVet (collectively, the “Mobile Apps”), two companion mobile applications available on Google Play, owned by ConnectInnoVet and maintained by it's official IT partner Aptsource Software Pvt. Ltd.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using either App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please uninstall and discontinue use of the Apps immediately.
1. About the Two Apps and Ecosystem
● InnoVet (For Veterinary Professionals) : Intended exclusively for licensed, qualified veterinary doctors, and practice professionals. It provides digital tools to manage patient cases, write prescriptions, schedule appointments, conduct telemedicine consultations, and access shared pet medical records.
● ConnectInnoVet (For Pet Owners) : Designed for pet owners and authorized caretakers seeking veterinary care for their animals. It enables appointment booking, virtual telemedicine consultations with verified veterinary professionals, and secure viewing/sharing of their pet’s medical history.
● Connected Ecosystem : The two Apps are part of a unified veterinary care ecosystem. A consultation initiated by a pet owner in ConnectInnoVet is received and managed by the corresponding veterinary professional within InnoVet. Both Apps interact with shared secure backend services including Google Calendar, Google Meet, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and authorized communication interfaces such as WhatsApp Business APIs.
2. Description of Core Services
Depending on your authenticated user role, the Apps provide access to the following core utilities :
● Appointment Scheduling : Facilitating and synchronizing veterinary slots via secure Google Calendar integrations.
● Telemedicine Consultations : Automating the generation and launching of secure Google Meet conference links for remote veterinary care sessions.
● Medical File Sharing : Enabling the upload, download, and explicit sharing of animal medical profiles, diagnostic laboratory results, static images, and documents.
● Medical Media Streaming : Processing and streaming authorized veterinary clinical video logs for diagnostic reference.
● Automated Reminders : Dispatching push notifications for scheduled consultations via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
● Speech-to-Text Transcription : Providing microphone-driven, ephemeral voice-to-text translation utilities to assist veterinary professionals in drafting clinical notes and prescriptions efficiently.
3. Eligibility and Account Registration
● Age Requirement : You must be at least 18 years of age to register an account or utilize either App.
● Veterinary Professional Verification (InnoVet Users) : To access and use InnoVet, you must hold a valid, active license or professional registration certificate to practice veterinary medicine recognized in your operating jurisdiction. You agree to maintain such licensure throughout your usage of the App and must suspend your use of the platform immediately if your license lapses, expires, or is suspended.
● Pet Owner Caretaker Status (ConnectInnoVet Users) : You confirm that you are the legal owner or explicitly authorized caretaker of any animal for which you schedule care. You agree that all interactions on the platform are strictly confined to the medical wellness evaluation of animals (pets) and never for human medical guidance.
● Google Account Integration : Both Apps require authentication or linking via a secure Google account to drive calendar sync and meeting links. By linking your account, you agree to comply with Google’s underlying Terms of Service. Our usage of Google API data strictly adheres to the "Limited Use" guidelines defined in our Privacy Policy.
● Account Accuracy : You are entirely responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your profile information and ensuring your login credentials remain secure.
4. Acceptable Use and Professional Standards
● Permitted Use : The Apps may only be deployed for lawful veterinary practice and pet care administration.
● Prohibited Activities : You explicitly agree NOT to:
► Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any codebase or native modules powering the Apps.
► Upload malicious scripts, corrupt payloads, or fraudulent clinical documentation.
► Impersonate any veterinary practitioner, institution, or animal owner.
► Intercept, scrap, or attempt unauthorized access to data streams belonging to other users.
● Professional Ethics for Practitioners : Veterinary professionals using InnoVet must uphold strict medical ethics, client-patient confidentiality, and territorial veterinary standards. Practitioners acknowledge that telemedicine has clinical limits and agree to explicitly direct pet owners to physical, in-person emergency hospitals when a remote assessment is insufficient or clinically unsafe.
● Transcription Accuracy Disclaimer : Practitioners using the voice-to-text features understand that automated transcriptions are prone to localized speech errors. The registered practitioner retains sole clinical and legal responsibility for reviewing, correcting, and signing off on any final prescription or note text generated using the App.
5. Intellectual Property and Content Rights
● User Content Ownership : You retain full ownership of all clinical charts, diagnostic records, images, and notes you create or upload ("User Content"). You grant ConnectInnoVet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, limited license to securely host, store, replicate, and transmit this content solely to facilitate the operational features requested by you and your authorized care recipients.
● Platform Property : All brand iconography, custom user interfaces, proprietary software configurations, design layouts, and trademarks associated with InnoVet and ConnectInnoVet are the exclusive property of ConnectInnoVet and its technology partner, Aptsource Software Pvt. Ltd.
6. Privacy, Storage, and Data Protection
● Privacy Policy Alignment : All personal details, device identifiers, and transactional logs collected through your use of the platform are rigorously handled in alignment with the ConnectInnoVet Privacy Policy.
● Backup Responsibility : While the platform utilizes industry-standard encryption standards (HTTPS/TLS) and secure remote servers, users are strongly advised to preserve independent duplicates of critical medical histories and prescription logs. The platform is not an alternate archival repository.
7. Payment, Subscriptions, and Billing
● Subscription Tiers : The platform may introduce subscription packages, feature access tiers, or transaction-based processing models. Where applicable, all financial payments are routed securely through Google Play’s Native Billing System.
● Google Play Terms : All monetization charges, renewals, card processing rules, or refund requests are directly governed by Google Play’s Developer Distribution Agreements and Consumer Billing Policies.
8. Disclaimers, Limitations, and Indemnification
● Emergency Care Disclaimer : THE APPS DO NOT DIRECTLY STREAM LIVE EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICES. IF YOUR PET IS EXPERIENCING A SEVERE, LIFE-THREATENING HEALTH EMERGENCY, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY TRANSLATE CARE TO A PHYSICAL, IN-PERSON EMERGENCY VETERINARY CLINIC.
● Service Availability Disclaimer : Access to the platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" framework. Services may be intermittently interrupted for infrastructure maintenance, network updates, or technical anomalies outside our control.
● Limitation of Liability : To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ConnectInnoVet, Aptsource Software Pvt. Ltd. and their directors or developers shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the Apps. In no event shall our total aggregate liability exceed the amount paid by you, if any, to use the platform functionalities.
● Indemnification : You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ConnectInnoVet and it's official IT partner Aptsource Software Pvt. Ltd. from any claims, liability losses, legal fees, or damages resulting from your violation of these Terms, misuse of platform permissions, or breach of territorial professional veterinary licenses.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account access to either or both Apps at our discretion, without prior notice, if clear indicators of a violation of these Terms, fraud, or professional license forfeiture are identified. You may drop or purge your account link permanently at any time by executing the native Account Deletion tool located in the App Settings.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed under the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any formal dispute, claim, or litigation arising out of or connected to these platform services shall fall under the exclusive jurisdictional courts of Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
